Donald Shook: My name is Donald Shook and I served with the 17th Infantry Regiment from 1984 to 1988 (Bco 4-17). Proud to have been one of the troops to form the new "4th Battalion" back in 84-85. Served in the USAR (12B) for 5 years after Fort Ord. I'm currently the 17th Infantry Association's Historian and Web Master and I was also the National President of the 17th Infantry Association for three years (2006-2009.) My passion is the 17th Infantry Regiment and I collect anything related to the Regiment.
